On March 24 (the 14th day of the first month by the sacred year), all the Churches of God throughout the nation and overseas held the assembly of the Passover of the new covenant through which 'Eternal life,' the hope of mankind, is allowed. The Passover was established with the flesh and blood of Jesus, who came as the 'Lamb of the Passover' for the salvation of mankind.

The Passover is annually kept at twilight on the 14th day of the first month by the sacred year. 3,500 years ago, when God led the Israelites out of Egypt the land of slavery, He ordained them to celebrate the day as a feast to the LORD-a lasting ordinance (Ex 12:1-14). In the Old Testament times, the Passover was kept with a slaughtered lamb every year, and in the New Testament times, it is kept with the bread and wine.
Jesus, the reality of the Passover lamb, made a will before the Crucifixion, saying, 'The bread and wine of the Passover are My flesh and blood in which the blessing of the forgiveness of sins is allowed, so you must eat and drink these to get eternal life,' and the next day He confirmed the Passover as the new covenant of eternal salvation by being crucified (Mt 26:17, Jn 6:53, Lk 22:14). Following the word of God, "Keep it until the end of the world," the Church of God annually celebrates the Passover with the bread and wine at twilight on the 14th day of the first month by the sacred year in the way Jesus taught, and commemorates the holy sacrifice of the Christ.
Before having the Holy Supper of the Passover, the members reminded the profound meaning of the feet-washing ceremony the Bible teaches, and attended the feet-washing ceremony, following the example of Jesus who washed the disciples' feet.

After the feet-washing ceremony, the main worship service of the Passover began. After the prayer that the 'bread and wine of the Passover' become the 'flesh and blood of Jesus,' the members shared the bread and wine, and bore deep in their hearts the love of Christ who sacrificed Himself for sinners.
The Chief Pastor Joo Cheol Kim said, "The Bible leads us to eternal life. Mankind, who are destined to die by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, have to find the tree of life through the Bible and go toward the way of eternal life," and he testified, "Jesus is the reality of the tree of life. He came in the flesh to give life to mankind, who are to die for the sin of eating the forbidden fruit. The flesh and blood of Jesus is promised in the bread and wine of the Passover (Jn 6:53, Mt 26:17)." He hoped that the Passover, the feast of life, will be spread quickly to all who are eagerly seeking eternal life.
