In April 5, when spring flowers were in full bloom under warm sunshine, dedication services for three Churches of God were held. They are the Boryeong Church, the Hongseong Church, and the Baebang Church in Asan, all located in Chungcheong Province. As the movement to preach to seven billion people is being actively carried out in and out of Korea, the dedication service for the new temples is more meaningful than usual.

At the dedication services held at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 8 p.m., Mother complimented the members who helped complete the temples on their efforts and blessed them with peace and health. And through the parable of the Good Samaritan who helped his neighbor who had run into a robber and been in near-death situation, Mother said that saving dying souls is the greatest love, and asked the members to deliver God’s love with compassion for those who are living in this speedy and heartless world, having no time to look around themselves.

General Pastor Kim Joo-cheol, congratulating them on the dedication, reminded the members of the meaning of the new temple granted for salvation of many souls, and asked them to participate joyfully in the gospel work with belief that God plans all the works, proceeds with them, and fulfill them, saying, “Preaching to seven billion people is searching for seven billion treasures like playing a treasure-hunt game” (Mt 28:18–20; Mt 24:13; Ro 10:13–18; Isa 46:10–11; Isa 14:24–27).

The members from the three churches, who attended the worship service and asked for the blessing of the Holy Spirit, showed their resolution that they would put more efforts into preaching and volunteer services with the mind of the Good Samaritan as believers who follow the teachings of the Bible.

The Boryeong Church

Through tourist attractions and cultural contents such as Daecheon Beach and the Mud Festival, Boryeong City is standing on end as an international tourist site. The Church of God in Boryeong is now prepared with descent appearance, which is fit for the beautiful scenery of Boryeong, to welcome the tourists who visit Boryeong City as well as the local residents. The members are putting their efforts from various angles into delivering God’s love to 100 thousand citizens and visitors, keeping pace with burning fervor of preaching to seven billion people around the world.

The Hongseong Church

The Church of God in Hongseong, which shines brightly in beige color, reminds us of a beautiful castle in a fairy tale. It is located by the main road with a clear view. Behind the church building, a rural landscape spreads and it is the best place for consoling weary souls physically and mentally.

Hongseong is well known as a region of loyalty for having produced many patriots like Generals Choi Yeong and Kim Jwa-jin from the old days. The church members said, “We will serve God with upright faith as heavenly children and give help to local society through our good deeds.”

The Baebang Church in Asan

The Baebang Church in Asan with four stories above ground and one basement was established in Baebang-eup where the New Town Development is at the height. The church with impressive beauty in shape is equipped with many additional facilities including duplex type polygonal worship hall. “Unexpectedly, many of our neighbors are having a difficult time even in the midst of plenty. We’d like to deliver hope and happiness to them,” said the members, who were putting into practice neighborly love through diverse activities such as volunteer services and a party for neighbors.
